Let us dare to read, think, speak, and write.

~John Adams

As digital intelligence grows, we humans must challenge ourselves to purposely exercise our brains and expand our minds.
If we don’t, our brains and human spirits will atrophy.

This webpage, a digital miscellany, will become a diverse collection of written art:  articles, stories, essays, poetry, reviews…

It will be a place to read, think, speak and write.   To stimulate and expand the human mind and spirit.

To learn.
To feel.
To consider.
To ponder.
To reflect.
To debate, argue and persuade.

It is NOT a place to carry on the binary, either/or, all-or-nothing, us versus them, reactionary, politically correct, unthinking, uncivil vitriol that has infected American (and also international) culture.

Human intelligence operates on a vast spectrum of infinite possibility.  It can process logic and emotion, applying wisdom, compassion, cooperation, and flexibility to solve the most difficult moral problems;  it is not limited to 1’s and 0’s of binary code.

So, let the digital forms of intelligence develop as they will.  Yet, as they develop, let’s feed what makes us unique and exceedingly valuable:  our minds.  Nothing feeds the human mind like the written word in its varied forms.

Come back soon to this gymnasium of human intelligence!   We are working on exceptional content for you.
